I've used muzzy and rage, I like the cut dia. of the 2 blade rages but i like the dependability of the fixed bladed muzzy's.... yesterday evening drew back on a doe looked at the end of my arrow and the dang rage was half open... the end! i went straight to academy and mixed the best of both worlds and got a pack of two blade bloodrunners... over a 1" cut closed and over a 2" cut open, so either way its going down... plus i don't have to listen to the rattle of rage anymore. Purpose of this is has anyone else used the bloodrunners and what did ya think about em?

Junk! They broke while practicing!! Honestly you aren't gonna get a better blood trail than a rage. If you don't like worrying about the original rage opening and "rattling". You need to buy the rage hypodermic!! They are held by a shock collar and no longer use O rings

I haven't lost a deer with a rage yet. Put on the new orange collars they come with and should be no problem. But I you want reliability, go with a fixed blade. IMO you could kill any animal with a field point if you really wanted. Shot placement is key! Some broadheads are just a lil more forgiving than others

I switched last year to trophy ridge meat seekers and I LOVE them. Killed a shoat at 40yards over the summer and a 3 pt buck in new York in November. When I shot the buck the string on my bow caught my grunt call and nearly ripped me out of the tree, needless to say the arrow didn't fly straight, ended up hitting the deer in the ham and he went ten feet and dropped dead. Hit the curated (sp) artery and he dropped dead right there. I was shocked, it totally destroyed the hip bone and sliced that thing clean. (Not my proudest moment, but yes my neck quit hurting after a day or two )
