Well let's see....we have Chicken and Dumplings, Chili, Beef Stew and Red Beans and Rice with Sausage on our menu for the next few days.
I'm making the chicken and dumplings tonight but My better half doesn't like dumplings so I made her some Home Made Chicken Noodle Soup. Turned out pretty good.

Ain't that the truth.   Super is cooked & ready 6:15 every nite, weather I'm home to eat, or warm up later.  Breakfast every morning 6:30.   A deal that good, dang rite I give her a day off every now and then.  My first wife couldn't boil water or butter bread.

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!

More power to y'all. I can't cook worth a flip and don't. Cooking for me means calling the pizza joint or the burger bar. The better half is far better and my waist line shows it.

I do 90% of the cooking in my house,  but not a lick of cleaning. My wife is a fine cook, but I  actually enjoy doing the  cooking. Ive got enough cookbooks in my pantry to open my own library. Plus when I'm cooking I can make food the way I like it and if anyone gripes I get to say they can cook for themselves next time!!

As far as the original post. Tonight was broiled salmon, garlic mash taters and green beans. I just got done grinding deer meat to throw in the crockpot in the morning to have a nice chili dinner  tomorrow evening. A mess of white beans and rice then a venison roast will probably be coming in the next few d ays!!
