I'm sure this has been hit more than 100 times but I'm just curious as to why on earth my 18 month old bmc is such a bitch to dogs in the yard other than colt (roommates lab) I'm assuming it's just territory. She doesn't get this way in the woods just when other dogs come around. A dog stuck it's head under the fence the other day and she was pissed! I have no slack for dog aggression and I swear if I ever catch her actin a fool in the woods... But for instance today a buddy came to visit and brought his dog, Kalli went to growlin from in her box when the dog walked by, I kicked the box and told her quit and she shaped up, but when Maddie (buddies dog) walks by Kalli will snarl and bark. any input is helpful.

When I say dogs In the yard, I mean new dogs that come around, stickin their head through fence, comin under the fence, dogs that are NOT mine.

Just a territorial thing man. She was fine in the woods/box with my dogs. Sounds like you've got a handle on it.

My dogs go nuts when a random dog comes in the yard. They do not like it. Pretty normal I'd say!

Just like another man in your shop you don't know you are going to check him out and probably come across with a voice or something of that matter until you know what's going on your land is the dogs property and she is just protecting what's hers
