So we headed out at about 7 pm sat night and after getting to the ramp and watching about 20 other hunters leave cause of the rain we talked it over and said screw it lets go !!  :toast: we never got a drop of rain and the storm never gave us a problem !! :toast:

Well we headed north on lake washington to a spot where we were seeing some good uns a few weeks ago !! well they were not there !! so we busted some trails!! after passing up about ten 7-8 footers we said lets get a line in something and got the bigger of the three!! he was 8 foot but had prolly 6 or 8 inches of his tail missing!! got him in the boat and hunted some more !! and passed on another three or four 7-8 footers so after about 6 hours we decided to get a couple coolers of meat in the freezer and stoped looking for 10 plus gators and we got our next one he was 8 foot but thought he was 100!!!  :toast:  man we got him up in some nasty stuff thick aint the work we crushed into some tall  willows and had to pull this dude out of some nasty cat tails !! it was awesome !!!!  :toast:  we were in a lil opening inside a bunch of willows knowwhere near any deep water we had to cut a trail out of this place to get back on the river.. all i can say is that 14 foot hamant with that water thunder did above and beyond its job!!!   by this time its kinda late  so we got one more line in a lil one to fill the freezer cause we still had 3 more tags to stick it out on some bigger ones!! well next thing we know the sun is coming up and when we look at the gps we are WAY away from where we started!! and the river was pretty close (by the way the crow flies !! :tooth: )
and a crow woulda had problems getting outa where we were!! it was NASTY !! after about 2 1/2 hours of crushing willows , peppers, and the biggest damn elephant ears i have ever seen in my life we popped out exactly right at the dam!!
When we were comin through that thick stuff we were on runnin over some big azz logs and stumps and full grown azz trees and a few times we had to all jump from one side of the boat to the other cause the side was going under from all the weight and the boat dropping back down to the water it was crazy SHIZ fo sho!!
so next time yall are at the dam heading north look to your left before you cross the crossing  and that trail you see coming right smack dab through the shizzz that was from that ole water pummper!! :roflmao:  im tellin you that boat was slap full of tree branches leaves birds fish what the f**k else we ran through!!
and we skined er back all the way back to the ramp!!

That is awesome, I want to try it someday. That boat must be a good 'un, looks like it held up nicely. Grin
