Made another run out at the same place we caught a good boar at 3 days ago, only this time the landowner and a good buddy would be joining us. We started off at the same place we dropped out last time. The dogs hunted out to about 1.3 miles, but no luck. So we decided to move down the river. We dropped out there and the dogs rolled out again. They were in 3 different directions, when my yellow cur opened up. My other dog Mudd joined in and we started making our way down to them. We lead the catchdogs in and turned them loose. The bay broke. Angry The dogs got on the track while we caught the bulldogs and bayed back up about 400 yards down the river. We lead the catchdogs in, turned them loose, and the hog broke again. Shocked Angry Evil This time we caught one bulldog, but the other one left out. We waited for a few minutes to see if he would come back and I looked at the garmin. The bay dogs were exactly 373yds away and all stopped. I had a good feeling, I knew where the catchdog had went. We hauled a$$ back to the Samurai and made our way to them. They were caught in the open field. Grin 1st boar hog down.

After tieing the hog, we moved down the river some and dropped the dogs out again. They rolled out ahead and bayed up about 500yds or so. We made our way to them and found them bayed up in some thick briars.

We turned the catchdogs loose. We heard alot of crashing and we knew they were caught. We made our way to them and they had this big sow.

Now this is where everything went down hill. We got her tied and in the process of slipping a mouth rope on my buddy gets bit on the tip of the finger. And if thats not bad, my other buddy started displaying some strange behavior. I was pretty conflicted about how I felt about all this Grin Heat must have got to em, I reckon.

All BS a side, it was a good hunt. Hope yall enjoy the pics and story Grin (BTW the guy in the blk shirt is the one that got his finger bit. If you look closely, you can see that it is wrapped up...lol)

Sounds like a awesome hunt.

You hunted with Savoy before....I can't believe you think humping a sow is all that out of the ordinary.  Wink

Took Savoy to the swamp and he promtly got his v-card punched.

He's out.  And you're out.  And i don't think I'm in either.
