what is the story on him running wild did you lose him.  Why I am asking am wondering if someone did not pick him up that made him that way.  Casterateing him might help but have a buddy that has a cut male and he still likes growling at other males have not fought yet but will growl.

A lot of cut males growl out other males cause they're fixing to get mounted by that other male. Shocked Shocked Shocked

I don't think cutting him is the answer! You have to be the dominate male in the pack. I'm not saying to beat him, just continually show him you are the doninate male of the pack every time he's aggressive you have to show him your the dominent male. I hope this makes sence to you!

Only problem with the shock collar is he will not associate the correction with you...I know you don't want to get physical with him, but you have to get his attention and be consistent just like it was one of your kids...I have a male with the same problem and he is fine as long as I am consistent...He knows he will get the azz whooping of his life if he tries me....works for me and is what he understands..Think about it, what would the leader of the pack do to him in the wild? ask him to please quit that? I don't think so..

This one still likes to be the head dog   He is a funny dog and i figgure he was dog aggressive before he was cut.  None of the other dogs pay him any attention so he just lets it go by the way side especially when all you have to do also is just say something to him and he is back on his marrly way looking for something lol.

Mike,

"Time Out" doesn't work for kids either 99% of the time. I have a buddy who is a school teacher and I hear all kinds of horror stories about his students.......I remember getting my butt whooped many times when I was a kid and I didn't turn out to be a mass murderer or whatever the "child behavior specialists" think its going to turn you into.....I think thats part of what is wrong with our society nowadays. The kids just NEED their butts spanked when they get out of line!!

I agree about the dog, stay on him and when he shows aggression get after him right then. A dog has a very short memory so you have to correct him at that instant almost, for it to be effective. He may never get over being aggressive, but you can slow him down.
