Yesterday evening my brothers, dad, and cousin and a young man from florida  and I met a buddy up in young county. We dropped dogs around 8 pm. We drove around for a few hours and no luck. We was getting ready to start heading back to our pickups and then it happened. My brother had a young cat pup about 11 months old running with my old Stew dog. He started following a trail about 560 yards and then they bayed solid. We started in with some catch dogs and getting ready to turn lose and noticed the guy with us cut his loose already. We heard her hit and and got knocked off then he took off again. they went 1.7 miles and the young pup and my stew dog bayed him solid again. We had only one problem both catch dogs at that time was running lose. So we had no catch dogs but one. We had my dads 11 mnth old pit who has only caught a small pig during a mock hunt. We took him just to let him see how it was done. Anyways i told my dad let me see that dog. i walked in to 57 yards from the bay. I was worried because he has never been hunting and did not have a tracking collar on him in case it broke again. But i turned him loose and all of sudden he ran in there and hit this boar like Clay Mattews. And it was on. the other dogs caught as well when he got there and my buddys bulldog got there right after as well. Them young dogs showed them others how it was done. Had a great hunt with good friends and family and the young man had a blast. Was a good experience for his first time

You would be proud of him Monty. That big pig he caught by himself. He did not think twice about it. Hopefully he will turn out like his daddy.
