Well the wifey and I made a run again yesterday afternoon. We loaded up the ol' hounds and dropped dogs at about 4:55ish. I came to a area and stopped. Dogs rolled out and treed 600yards from us. so we ease on to em. A couple other dogs had a lil hog caught  between us and the bayed dogs. We stuck that pig and off to the next. Kilt the next one. Sat there and seen something I never have seen my dogs do before, but have heard of dogs doing it. They went back to where they hit the sounder 4 times and took 4 trails for 4 caught hogs. We'd catch one. They'd go back to the original spot, and off again. Over and Over. Killed 6 total. Killed the majority about 400-600 yards from where we hit the group. Them pigs scattered and laid down... Well shame on em. By the 6th hog we was ready to go home, but the old man had another idea. He was treed .72 from us in the opposite direction from the truck. Well we went to the truck loaded dogs drove to about 900 from him, the hog broke and I laid on the horn till I FINALLY got him to leave the hog. He weren't happy and we were tired... Normally we don't call dogs off of a hog, but he is old and knows his job... We loaded up all dogs and were pulling out the ranch at about 6:30. Nothing huge, a few smaller than I thought. I think like 2 40 pounders and the rest 100ish pounders... Just a good fun hunt.

I only have pics of two the wife has em all on gopro.

The gazelle was BACK this time!! Sticks and vines fear me!! Hahaha! Managed not to trip! Lol, but I lost my lucky pink jacket that everyone at work thought was splattered w red paint.  Grin Wink hee hee! Hope I can find it eventually though.

But this was a great hunt; we had several less experienced dogs finding their own hogs left and right. Glad to see their confidence on the up and up!!
