Ok ok been hearing it and hearing it what is the true scoop on it?  True no mammal to mammal contact?  It is federal right?  The only thing I could find when I looked was expanding the catch competitions but on facebook a guy said he just got out of a meeting saying no mammal to mammal contact.

Just started looking and reading, I will post up what I find that might be of interest.

SEC. 12108. SENSE OF CONGRESS REGARDING FERAL SWINE ERADICATION.
It is the sense of the Congress that--
(1) the Secretary of Agriculture should recognize the threat feral swine pose to the domestic swine population and the entire agriculture industry; and
(2) feral swine eradication is a high priority that the Secretary should carry out under the authorities of the Animal Health Protection Act (7 U.S.C. 8301 et seq.).

I believe in one of the Carolinas they started using a mechanical hog in baying competition's...probably for the same reasons...

If u read it it says reasonable belief that one or both animals may be injured. If I recall correctly. In a bay comp a person has a reasonable expectation the NEITHER animal will be injured. Bay comps have rules and personnel in place to help prevent this.
