I have a buddy that works at our local honda store who can get me out the door for 8k on an elderly owned big red. I know there have been a couple threads about them with relatively zero complaints.

Any comments gripes complaints?

Brand new 2013 Polaris Ranger 800 with winch and Swamp lite tires.  Only 80 hours.  $6,000.  Just kidding- but I bet it would have talked you out of the big red!  lol

Be smart and put a snorkel on ASAP. It will do more to protect ur investment more than anything else u can do.

I say go ahead and throw 28's on her for the ground clearance if nothing else. I have 27's on my ranger, and will go with 28's next time. I like to run a lower tire pressure than most, so I need the extra tire for clearance reasons. what tire you thinking about going with?

in addition, very nice trailer. is it a dove tail? If so, are you satisfied with it as far as easy loading and the rear end not dragging anywhere?

These are 27's they do fine. Only issue I have is the skinny fronts are shorter than the wide rears. May go 28 on front with 27 rears next time. The current set up pushes the front in 4wd. I think 28 on front will make final ratio the same. I have swamp lites.

I need to tighten the shocks on mine and bigger tires are a must, it went everywhere i asked it to all weekend, we put it theu the paces and it performed flawless. Bought it with 760 miles friday and parked it this evening with 828. Very pleased.

It's amazing what 2" will do for clearance. I just put a new winch on mine. When these things go down it isn't nice. Takes a good winch to pull them out. A 3k with snatch block barrel pulled me out a bout a month ago. I now have a viper max 5k with snatch block, that should handle it, my bike has around 7500 miles or more right now. I haven't looked in a while. But last time I did it was about that.

Man Im really not sure as far as the tires go, I really like the outlaw radials but im not sure if I want quite that much tire or not yet. Im gonna run 28"s I believe, this buggy cruised through some nasty nasty stuff with the 25"s that are on it but I think a little more ground clearance and a little more meat on the ground will make a world of difference.

Yes sir it is a dovetail, everyone has been sayin I will hate it due to dragging but honestly I have not had the first issue with it dragging yet, if the road is that bad I will take the buggy off and leave the truck lol. I'm pleased with the trailer so far, tracks perfect down the highway and is plenty wide for the buggy. Plan on building a hog pen with dog boxes on top in the front of it in the next couple weeks.
