IMO it would have to been done in a educational and tactful manner. Maybe start off by asking some questions and then start explaining some of the effects of hog doggers being in a bad light in the public eye. I 'd would definantly be careful about it though. Approach some of these ol boys in a wrong way and you'd be liable to get a lung knocked loose.

i think a morew un-offical way would be better. If TDHA published one then we would show proof about dogs getting hurt and show hog dog hunters in a bad light. jmo.

 Same place differant day. Saw some un heathy dogs. Wanted to worm/feed them myself. Last I heard they are back in the woods somewhere..........

This is a good subject and I've harped on it before, if you can't afford to feed and give a dog medical attention. DO NOT HAVE THEM!!

I think there is no excuse, hell I was out of work for 5 months earlier this year, but still fed my dogs plenty, wormed them, took care of cuts, etc. I mean come on. how expensive is Ivomec? not very much at all when you consider how long it lasts...dog food? yeah i know its pretty high, but if you cant afford to feed 10 or 15 dogs, CUT DOWN!! sell or give them to someone who can.

I keep 4 dogs, a very small pack in the hog hunting world, but thats pretty much my limitations with the size place I have, the amount of crap  I wanna clean up and the amount of dog food I want to buy.

Another  good point brought up, if you host a bay competetion, have a tourny, whatever, your just as responsible as the peoplle that are careless with their animals by not asking these people to take their sick, underfed, wormy dogs out of there. I wouldnt want my dogs exposed to it.

IMO, it is your/our responsibility to say something. we have to govern ourselves or the man will do it for us ! as many of you know they  are making laws faster than i can follow them..........
