We made a couple of hunts this week and they were ok, nothing to good or bad.   We decided to make a hunt this morning, just me and him.

Yes we had a good time, the hog made a good race & bayed in a good thicket!  My old fat self was spent by the time we had the hog dispatched.  I'm sitting on the ground sucking air and Corbin hollered "whooo". And was grinning from ear to ear.     To me that's as good as it gets.

Good work!!!  Great hog too!

Fortunate enough to hunt with my dad every time we go out. I have 2 kids myself, and hopefully someday they will want to go with dad to catch some hogs. The oldest is eat up with deer hunting (she's 4) and in a few years I'll let her do the shooting.

Corbin looks about as happy as a boy can get! And I couldn't be any happier with that son of Big Mama's out on the chain. I like him more every day! Glad you got a good week with Corbin.

The boy is turning into a young man. For those of you that don't know him yet, he's a good kid. Last year about this time I had to wait on him every now and then when he would leave out with me. This year he was step for step. It's fun to listen to his observations about the dogs. You can sure tell he isn't just along for the ride but really taking it in.
