Several years ago, when I first started hunting with dogs I went down to the pound and picked out the 5 saltiest dogs I could find. I didn't realize you had to "break them". I went on my 3rd hunt and came across one of our bulls. Long story short, the fight was on and I ended up getting smashed by the bull against a tree. Both me and the dogs were out for a while. So with that being said, Whats the most trouble your dogs ever got you into?

Not my dogs but my buddy's cow dogs got us both in trouble. We were day working for this one guy and there was a few cows missin and the place was rough so we send the dogs out and they go bay 2 cows. No big deal. Little later we do it again on the other end of the place and my buddy has one old yella dog and a dang catahoula puppy. Old dog makes a couple rounds and the puppy goes across the fence to the neighbors cows and he just had a few yard ornament cows and used to hav goats and he had an old guard donkey for his goats out there and as soon as that donkey seen that dog it was on! That donkey run us off and stomped the hell out of that poor little puppy. Guy wasn't very happy to say the least

Yeah, those donkeys don't mess around. They'll kill coyotes. After I had a hold of my bulldog and the bull had a hold of me. I crawled on out of there and bought some shock collars. Things are a lot better now. I catch hogs and armadillos. (I let em slide on those armadillos) As long as its not another pissed off bull with a dog hanging off his face.
