im not being rude just want to learn as much about ybmc as possible. i almost went back to jagds i actually paid 500.00 for a pup I have to pick up monday I reserved it last fall.I have a yella pup i got from don breckenridge thats a two year old.I new he had potential all along but he turned on and it's amazing.I've never hunted a dog like him I used to get a hog here about 1out of three or four hunts. I have consistently caught hogs this year though. I almost never go on dry runs. i've been getting 3 or four on a single hunt we've probably bayed more this winter than i have in the last three years.don isn't breeding right now but i sure want me some more of some yellow like that.

Sure you have heard it a million times on here. But everyone's huning style and level of the game is different.
One line may fit you to a tee while another man wouldn't waste a bullet on it.
Extremely glad you are considering Yeller dogs. Nothing rude about your statement at all.

How can I get ahold of a pup out of don brackenridge? I tried lots of foundation yella dogs. Mainly Thoms/wrights blood. had good luck with most, some push towards cows rather then hogs but one were one owner type dogs that wanted to work one or the other. you do have to spend time with them in the yard or you may turn em out and never touch them, then again no one will be helping them self to your dog

My 3way cross yellers make good hood dogs.ladner/carnithen/ben. They hunt my style an come very rough. Most of this blood I traced back to the 60s.

I've got one yellow dog he's a weathorford Ben bred dog. He's pretty much the only one I've had any dealings with but I like him he's one of my main dogs. He's not a high power dog but he just seems real accurate if that makes any sense. The only two things I hate about him is when he's fat he's is real lazy and will not do anything but when he's in shape I wouldn't take anything for him. And he don't like to hunt with some male dogs he will come back to me and try to go by him self. I don't know about all the other Ben dogs out there but if they are like him I would recomend them to anyone

My best dog is a Ben Jordan bred dog, really really like how she hunts, for the most part she stays gone and hunts really hard.

im sorry!..... i lost track of this thread. i can get some good blood from Donald but his are all i've hunted and I want tp try something new the ones i got from him are really good dogs plus i've got some pups bred up from a male i got from him as a puppy and a female with a long story but a fine dog. my dogs are not registered I want to be able to sell one if i need to. I have never made money on a dog i buy them for good money and then give them away. there aren't many pig hunters up this way and im tired of spending with no way to even the odds.these pups i got four lived and four hunt and good to they were baying in the pen at 3 months.they are six months now and ranging out running tracks on there own or with another dog.but they are red dogs and i want yellas that hunt like that.one I just want to have my own thing plus i'm trying to learn.not but one ybmc guy that i know so its tuff to ask. m bennet i would like to try one of those sometime.

Wow them curs again. I've hunted beside what I've been told were the tightest bred curs from some big names out there but I still strike hogs in front of and behind them curs with my full blooded catahoula. So don't buy a cur just to say u got one. Jmo
