Caught this rank boar the other day,

My 11 month cur pup Tank struck this boar on the river bottom ran him out 226 yards and got smoked though the brush. I clipped tank to a leash.  My older dogs picked up the trail runs 350 yards and bayed him up on a hill side in thick cedars. We crawled though the holes to get to the bay 110 yards , my dog Thor returned to us cut down his left shoulder. Yella and spot still holding the bay we cut the CD loose. This scrappy boar broke in the thick brush and now the CD was running. I checked the hand held and they was 640 yards from us, my dog Thor rejoined in the chase and bayed up with Yella and spot in the river bottom. My CD hit the open river bottom and nailed him, problem was we were a foot running to the catch. Got this one tied, but my CD's got some cuts from holding for a long period.

Spot on river bottom after we tied, all  the blood is from my CD he was cut under his jaw.

The dog in the pic is one of our lead dogs, gamey as heck if no pigs are around, but we deal with it cause she will roll out on multiple pigs if present. She is a cat x -- is all we know.

Good job, I hope all dogs are fine. I hate doing that crawling through holes in thick brush sometimes on my hands and knees and I have no clue what lies up ahead and the only clue we have is a bloody dog that comes past us
