Couple of BlueTick Hounds in this video.

Male is my Preacher. He's a young hog dog. Has struck his own. Hunts short to medium range. Silent till he's right on the pigs heals then he'll open up. Big beautiful bawl. Has more bottom than I like personally. Will stay hooked for miles and hours.

The female is a tree dog that belongs to Robert Whitten (Halfbreed) I don't really know much about her other than she WILL bark at a pig, lol. I'm pretty sure Robert started her on coon and she will tree.
Just bred these two and if it took there will be pups on the ground around the end of May.

I don't have any, but a guy I hunt with has 2 dandies.  The female is bad to get ahold of a hog, so she gets cut up about everytime out.

Male dog won't get ahold, but he is a little slow on track.  Never lifts his nose from the track though.  Good dog to turn out and find the hogs, when he jumps we send the bay dogs to him, and they out run him pretty bad, but without him and my walker (in the picture) we wouldn't kill near as many hogs that we do.

I wondered about Preacher when I first started hunting him....but....came to learn he actually covers a track pretty fast.

My walker is a lot like you described your preacher dog as, besides he has a huge range.  He will basically go till he finds a hog, but he is fast, and tries to shut em down quick, but we have runners around this part of the world.  He will stay on the track all day.

I really like the way your preacher dog looks.
