Invited Lance (catchrcall) on a hunt this morning with me and the land owner. Unloaded the ranger, situated the dogs and were in the pasture by 7:00 am. By 7:25 am we had 4 hogs down and a pretty good morning.

Didnt get any action shots. Luke bailed off the ranger on a group and caught a shoat. Took care of him and sent the rest of the dogs on. Drove a few hundred yards to listen...... Bart (Jagd) had another shoat caught, Blue and Betty, Lance's dogs had a nice 150 lb boar bayed and 100 yards down Luke (Jagd) had rolled back out and had a nice sow bayed.

We drove up on the first bay and noticed Betty was coming back to us, cut. We jumped out with the bulldogs and sent them to the bay about 20 yards in front of us. Wish I had the video camera. Pretty cool watching the bulldogs hit.

Made a quick round by the creek with no luck and decided to call it a morning.

Nice haul! That's like, some kinda record time or something. Shocked Lots of action all at one time, thats what make for a fun hunt. Nice job.

It was definately a fun hunt, with plenty going on.  I had a real good time.  It all happened in fairly open country so it was nice to get to see the dogs work, I think that was my favorite part.

Sounds good Nate. My cut vest came from Cazedoras cut gear. It has held up pretty well. Lance had his new vest from uglydog and I really liked it.
Good Hunt. stick and move...stick and move Grin

That was definitely a stick and move if there ever was such. Grin After Luke did his style of "One Out" on his shoat.... Grin they rand about 500 yards and had three bays bout every 200 yards.

funny thing about Luke running those pigs down....we saw a whole mess of shoats split off from the group running across the hill but we couldnt tell which one was the dog and which ones were the pigs...saw about 10 little black animals running then heard squealing.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Very nice!  Guess we know where they all went.

There were some decent sized hogs in the group. Caught them all along the county road...they were making a b-line for the south pasture. Probably going over there to eat those a-hole deer hunters corn. Grin
