Do any of you use portable scales to weigh your hogs? I've never weighed one I've caught but been wanting to lately. Most of the time I leave the hog with the landowner and he eats em or whatever he does with em. All of my spots are an hour or so away. Any ideas pics or advice would be great! Thanks

When we were in high school we used an old cotton scale. Could be carried around in the bag of the truck between the dog box and cab and fit inside a burlap sack. Was easy to hang from a tree and went up to 400 lbs. Was so old that we had to remark the lines with marker in order to read it. Will see if I can find it and post a pic.
