Has anyone seen a change in the price of dogfood or is it my feedstore. I feed enhance and it is usually $16.50 per 40lbs, but I went today to get some and he said the next pallet will be $21.00 per bag. When I asked he said he has no choice, because of the price of the ingredients. I might have to find me a new hobby, cuz this one has no chance for repayment.

Where are you at Trent? Just trying to get an idea of prices in different areas. We have seen a serious price increase around here as well, between feed and fuel the price of poker keeps going up.

Mine have gone up too. Diesel fuel is whats kicking my a$$ though... $4.00 a gallon is friggin robbery

I'm in LaPorte, paying $17.40 per 50lb bag. Was $15.60 a month ago I think. Horse feed went up $2 a bag overnight as well.

It is going up everywhere, it has been steadily increasing over the last year or more. I was paying $19 and change for Pride 26/18 50lb.then they got in a pallet of Pride 27/18 and were selling it for $16 and change. The next week the 27/18 was more than the 26/18. Cant figure how they sold the first pallet cheaper then went up the next week.  I recently swapped to a meat based feed a friend of mine sells. He is selling it for $12 and change for 50 lb. I cant remember the name and it was the first time I had heard of it but I am on my 5th bag and the mutts are holding up on it pretty good. I will get the name the next bags I get. I dumped all the last one in my big metal can and threw away the bags. :  On another note, shelled corn went up to $8 for 50lb. a couple weeks ago. |
