Anyone can give there self a kennel name but not many people accomplish what he has in breeding for hog dogs. This is one of the reasons there was a post of "where did everyone go"

I don't doubt the mans ability to breed, raise or train dogs. I do however disagree with posting of videos such as these. The pig may have been dead but that still don't make it right. Creative editing and a lil bit of subtitles and it becomes savage dogs killing defenseless  piglet while blood thirst owner encourages them.

I have said it before and will say it again. Smart phones, you tube, and Facebook will be the end of hog dogging.

This has nothing to do with being week or hiding anything. We just don't need to air our laundry on the sidewalk.

Shotgun they can do that with EVERY picture or video posted. Hell...I could make a propaganda video featuring the attrocities of Dove hunting if I wanted to.

There is no reason to be paranoid. If your afraid to talk about something you love....or to share (innocent) pictures or video on a website/forum dedicated to the sport.....well....the wackos are already winning aren't they.

No Kevin it's not that I'm scared but this is a subject that is new to the world of hog hunting. I plan to hunt with dogs till my time here is done. I truely believe FB, you tube and smart phones will be the end. I'm sure u and others here saying the video is fine also have said the WWW has hurt the sport. While u may see the video as innocent and I personally don't have a problem with it I still don't think it should be public. Some kid that don't have a brain will see it and say Mr Parker posted that video so I'm gonna post mine. Well his is 3 bulldogs ripping one apart. I see videos all the time that don't need to be public. I see others that are good clean dog work. I wish others would think just a lil longer before they post a video or pic. No to a hog dogger the video may not be bad. To an anti they are all bad. The ones I'm worried about are the ones on the fence. Those are the ones that could carry the vote to shut down hog dogging. I know lots of folks say it will never happen. I also know there were other folks that said they will never shut down their sport either but they did. U run at bay pens. Why do they say no cameras. Not because every run ends bad but because it could be made to look that way. We as a whole need to remember while anti's can get Ammo on their own we don't need to make it any easier.

you can't hide from what we do in our sport and shouldn't  ..... I really didn't see any harm in it ...never ment it to be any more than it was  just my pups showing natural intrest on the first pig they seen ....THATS IT ....  I been a very fortunate person to enjoy  spending the time I have  in the woods with my dogs ...its not a  sport with me its  my life  its  who I am ...I don't want to be anywhere I can't be  just  that .....

It's not hideing it's just not putting it on a billboard. I understand being proud they did what they should. I get it is ur life. I would like for it to be my life for the next 50 or 60 years. If I live that long.

Here's my point. U take someone out here that knows nothing about dogs much less pigs or hog hunting and they see ur video. Let's say on that day they have no opinion on hog hunting. They see the video and think that isn't right. No biggie. 5 years later they are posed the question should hog hunting with dogs be outlawed. They scratch their head and remember this video from 5 years ago. They can't remember what it was about or that the pig was dead just they didn't exactly like it. So they say outlaw it.

I personally have no issue with it but I see where someone might. I have seen videos far worse but u know they used the same defense as u do. "Ain't nothing wrong with it. It's just part of hunting. U can't hide the fact that this happens."

It's ur deal u do as u see fit. I just ask that people think before they post videos on you tube that may eventually cost us what we all enjoy.

well if that  little clip is  too much whats ok ?   there's thousands of pictures way worse .....  have  you posted any pic's ?  if  so was there any blood? any torn ears ? have  you mentioned looseing a  dog?  whats ok whats not ?

Yes I post a pic here and there of a dead pig. No I have not mentioned loosing dogs. I also haven't posted a pic or video of a dog with its teeth on a hog.

Ur video is tamer than most.

In my opinion if the pig was alive and not hurt it woulda been fine. Pics and video of teeth on the pig are not good. Nor is bloody dogs be it theirs or the pigs blood.

I just want people to think. Think before we post. Think before we act. U me all of us have the world after us today. They want to outlaw hog hunting here in AR with dogs today. They are after them in AL . Lots of others are getting looked at as well.  We are an endangered species today. Sometimes it's just best to keep a low profile. 

I know u are an accomplished hunter breeder and trainer with far more experience than myself. I also know that times are changing and we must change with them to protect our sport and way of life.

Loaded Kane, red, fancy, and Dixie. The wife and lil girl jumped in as well. I had talked with a neighbor yesterday and they said they saw a couple groups of bigger shoats Thursday evening. We went to where they had been seen and dropped Kane, red, and fancy. They moved out hunting to around 300 or so and Kane and red crossed a slough. Fancy came back so I loaded her for the trip around. About a half mile into the 5 mile trip around garmin says Kane barked 20x per minute. We got problems. Kane don't bark unless he is cut and slung off. We have now caught overdrive. I kept an eye on the garmin and see Kane and red headed for a gravel road near the slough. Fly in and Kane is in the gravel bleeding bad. Snatch him up and the wife starts trying to stop bleeding. I hear red bayed solid 130. I cut loose fancy, Dixie, and roxy my cd. We are running right behind them. Fancy gets there first and I hear her yelp. By then Dixie is there and she is yelping. Roxy goes in and gets hit by then I'm 10 yards looking eye to eye with a BIG boar. Roxy is trying to get hold of him but he keeps knocking her back. By now I have pistol in hand. I kept waiting for a clear shot knowing he's about to break. Got a clear shot but it's front edge of shoulder base of neck. I figured if nothing else I might slow him down and give roxy the chance she needs. I fire and he breaks. I hit him further back than intended. Get the CD caught and head to wheeler to find fancy has a 3" hole bit in her side and Dixie has a cut in her shoulder on her leg and flank torn badly. At this point Kane is still bleeding but not as bad as before. Red is still on the boar and we spend 45 min trying to get him caught up. The boar bayed several times but not long enough. We did see him once dragging his right front leg. When we got red caught up and got back to the wife Kane was still bleeding pretty good. Dixie was cut worse than I could staple so we cut out for the vet. Well as of now Kane is sewn up and so are fancy and Dixie. The boar had cut Kane nearly all the way thru his hip. Luckily it missed the arterie. Vet believes it missed his nerve as well. The bright side is they will all be fine in 2 weeks to 1 month for Kane. It coulda been far worse I guess. I have killed boars 270 pounds. This boar was bigger than any of those. I really want this dudes head. If the 357 slug don't get him first I will get him. "
