Came home to fun my pup dead.... Pretty bummed out...  Picky when it comes to my dogs and this one had it all... Good looks hunted good for a started dog... RIP Ruger...

I'm guessing the fire works scared him... He kept jumping out if his kennel so my dad chained him up and he jumped out again and hung himself... It sucks I really liked this pup he was making out to be a good dog

Hate to hear that amigo! I know you're very aware of it now but that's the main thing to look for when chaining, if and where they could hang themselves. My dogs can get on top of their dog house but their chain won't let them past the house. That way they can get up on the house to lay down but can't hang themselves by jumping over the back of it. Again, sorry to hear about your loss.
