Usually around 7-10 days after she comes in is when she will go into "standing heat" where she will become more receptive to the male. Then u got bout 7 days she will be in standing heat then the last 7ish days, she will start to come out n wont want the male trying to mate with her.

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!

If she is bleeding just use a tissue and touch her each day to check for blood and the third day without blood is supposed to be the prime time in her heat cycle. Its something to do with the embryos stopping the bleeding when the move into the fertilization area. Don't ask me to explain it again but my Vet. told me how it worked several years ago. Its usually occurs on about the 7 or 8th day as Charles stated but I use the tissue to check for blood incase I'm not sure of the exact day of her starting her heat cycle.

10th to the 11th day is best, but I was always taught if you wanted a bigger litter breed her on the last 7 days she's going out. You may have to tie her head.
