well my drahthaar male got to my female brindle pit today and was sure enough hung up when i got home ! lol  he's med range , rough as a cob and can run for hours ...... shes built like a brick #2 house .  this was totally an accident but im kinda interested to see the results ..... wouldnt be my pick to breed to but both are pretty good dogs ..... we'll see.

I think he goes by "alabama jagd " on ethd, he just posted video from his gopro, anyway, he has donrpe that cross and seems to be working for him

cool thanks .... ive heard of people doing the english pointer x game bred pits but never a drahthaar and pit .

GWP are a common cross with other dogs here. They'd be worth a try. One word of caution though - they can be "biters" and watch them if you have kids. I have had 3 GWP and won't have another one.  All were a little scatty and not worth the risk around our children. All took dirt naps.

ive never had an issue with him around people but if two other dogs start going at it he wants to be right in the middle of it .  i dont tolerate biting dogs , they dont last very long around my house !
