Wife showed me a post on Facebook of a brindle cur wearing a new dc40 w/ green collar. Dog looks fairly young. Found on Nichols creek rd off hwy 87. The phone number of the person who has it is 409-289-0395.

all that technology that cost hundreds , but not a 1.75 name tag . that's a sad state of affairs , I hope the dog makes it home .

Unknown if the collar was still on...I don't even know the folks who found it, just passing it along. It's what I would want others to do for me if I lost a dog. If they didn't have a couple dollars for a name plate, I doubt they would have a new garmin tracking system... But you never know I reckon. If I had to choose, name plate would come first every time. But that is a personal opinion of course...

What I ve seen in the past when ppl found dogs and found out who owned em in the area, all of mine don't leave the house without name plate collars, garmin, and telemetry every hunt

Same here. I was one of the lucky ones who's garmin and telemetry colar went dead on the same dog while hunting. He was picked up, and taken to our house. Heck we even have name plates on the beep beep collars and the garmins.

Interesting not shure why someone would put the $200 dollar tracking collar and no name plate. Weird

I also use to take my regular collars off when I put on cut collar. Then I realized how stupid I was. If by some chance I decided to take on of the pups for a practice run and one got away I would be where this guy is. I do plan to have proper tags on the pups before they run. I also have name tags to go on garmins if I ever get them put on.
