My gyp Fancy had 7 puppies the other day. She had 5 males and 2 females. Quite a bit of color in the litter! When I saw the first 2 pups come out white, I was alittle shocked! Have not had any all white with eye patches. The mother has the eye patches with a white ring neck and the dad is a black and tan color.

I called Jimmy Messick who started the mothers line of Florida Curs with Morgan Rodgers and he said about 17yrs ago, he did a breeding with his Poacher dog and he was a red bobtail, bred to a white and black colored female. Both were Florida Curs, and the litter had all redish colored pups, with two all white with black eye patches pups. He kept the male white one and gave the female to his brother. The male he kept Grip was a outstanding medium range rough, silent dog that would catch out on the jaw like most of his curs did, and the female was the same type of dog, but she was very hard on other dogs! Both were killed on hogs, and he has not had another all white one since then! A throw back from a great, great uncle and aunt!

I have bred this line 6 times myself and have always gotten red, red ring necks, fancy's litter had her which had a dark coat , white ring neck, and litter mate sister Sassy was a black and white rig neck. some black and tans from my last cross to Zipper, a black and tan male. Either way, all good looking pups with some high hopes on them!!

Mom Fancy, and Dad Blaze!

Thanks for the compliments!

Judge. I like a smart, athletic, rough, medium range hog dog!! Color not a big deal, finding hogs is!!

All the pups were spoken for, but I am sure there will be some color blind people not liking that some are white!! Lol....

They look good Taz, lots of color. I like them white ones Wink We had one litter hit the ground Thursday and the other should hit the beginning of next week.

Went away for almost a week, and the pups are now up and walking with their eyes open! Looking good, very active, and almost ready to start introducing some mushed up puppy food!
