that thing is huge! I wish I could have read that measuring tape. I'm curious to know how long it was. The measuring tape runs out a couple inches before his thumb. It stops reading at 60"

This one is close in size. You should try paying for the feed for this dog.

I'll bet Krystal will chime in...she'll prob. have the story.
I wonder if Clorox was in on the catch? Heard he's making a fine catchdog...

hey guys this is Krystal, my computer died yesterday, I am crash course learning my daughters laptop, thats why I am signed in under her screenname, but I am working on getting the photos up. I scored this hog, It is a wild hog and you heard correctly on the stats. Holly Cassen of Weiser Weight came down to witness the weighing. I got a call yesterday evening to see if I could score this Boar that the Holub boys caught, I knew if the called it would be good. When they arrived about 9 pm, my jaw dropped, now I had another problem, How the hell was I gonna weight this hog? Home with me and my daughter, and not enough scale to get the job done. I called the Owners of Weiser Weight & Tusk and asked for help. Holly was eager to come to the rescue with the official Big Scale. Tractor would not start so it took us a little while to mange to get the hog raised enough to get it weighed. First attempt had the oak limb cracking. It was dark and fire ants were eating us up, but we got the booger off the trailer enough to swing with out breaking anything

so that means that it's five feet at about mid ham, so I could safely assume he's about six feet from nose to the start of his tail. that's a big ol boy.

WellI will try to tell it second hand. The Holubs are not on the internet. The property is only 300 acres of cattle ranch. The landowners have seen the hog several times around their cattle. He had been shot once awhile back, with 22 did not phase him. Seen him yesterday early, so when the boys got off work they picked through a few dogs that were not on injured list. They have been on aroll the past few weeks several very large hogs taking a toll on the dogs. So they loaded Hook, Tiny Baby, and Camo, two catch dogs Rhino and Kojak. Hook struck and was joined by the other two, they got close and cut Rhino loose, seen Rhino and the Hog and caught bay dogs (including 20 lb Tiny Baby) Hog was swinging in circles, so sent Kojak and he was still moving . Cullen grabbed him, but could not budge big boy, Clayton grabbed ahold and were not able to roll him so Clayton just stuck him while struggling with him. Hook and Camo had some injures but nothing terrible, Hooks ear is sliced and Camo had a few chest gashes. They went to the vet anyway to be sure that was all. Took several grown men pushing the 4 wheeler to get it moving to drag it out, and a bobcat with a bucket to load it. Now this is the version i got from and excited 16 yr. old man. I tried to get more pictures, but Cullen did not seem to realize that this is a once in a life time hog, and not to mention it was midnight before we got the scoring completed! They did get acouple of pics in the feild, but I will have to scan those in later.
