Mosquitoes have gotten BAD out at my place the last few days. They are pestering the dogs like I have never seen. My kennels are in the most breezy spot I have. I removed the shade tarps from the sides to allow the breeze to blow through better to hopefully get them some relief. Put some fly repellant spray on them which seems to work so-so. The OFF I put on myself while working only seemed to work so-so as well. These are some hungry mofos. Usually a few skeeters don't bother me and the dogs can just tuff it out but this is a different story. I plan on buying some cedar shavings to put inside there houses. Anyone have any other tips too keep the mosquitoes down. Some of you coasters surely deal with this on a more frequent basis. Thanks. Waylon

We planted citronella plants around the dogs' spots. That helped a lot. We have skeeters the size if kittens out here lol.

We got them bad right now. I use the Pymetherin concentrate. Spray pens, fence, dogs and houses. Buddy started using called Bifen to treat around his house and yard. Said it works great.

X2 on the Bifen. I used to be a cutter fan but Bifen works way better. I can spray 3 acres for $15 with Bifen when it costs $20-30 in Cutter just to spray around my house and kennels.

I buy it from Texas City Feed just cause that's where i buy my feed. I believe most feed stores carry it.

I got turned on to the Bifen at the beginning of the year. Not only does it knock down pesky skeeters, but I have not had the first flea or tick this year and have noticed a vast reduction in the ant force! I ordered mine from http://pestcontrol.domyownpestcontrol.com/search?view=grid&w=bifenThey sell it at our feed store, but I did not know until after I ordered and a quart at the feed store would cost what I paid for 3/4 gallon. I support my local businesses as much as possible, but I have to feed my family too. Lol
