the heat cycle is 21 days...the first 9-10 days she bleeds and will usually accept a male between 10-thru day 14 give or take a day or 2...I do not worry much about it. I just watch her when she throws her but up and backs up to the kennel and the males lick her behind and she starting winking and throws that tail over she is ready...turn a male in and it usually is foreplay for 15 minutes before she gives in...if she is a fighter those 15 minutes can be hard on an inexperienced male...by the end of the fifteen minute he might not want anything to do with her...maybe...

I think I'll just get my own male make things easier I like 2 hunt females I personally think they hunt better and mind better
