Just wondering how some of hall like a vest to fit... I like mine snug in a dog also don't like it going past the rib cage.... I like my dog to be able to move around with out it being in the way...

I like a good vest not a lot of vest snug and light I got pnp they can be a bit heavy when wet but good protection

I use ugly dog only cuz thats what the elders use. Seen a few others. Im happy with mine. Its not tight on cd I would say cant fit my hand between ribs and vest but I like it looser in the rib section tighter in the chest  but loose around neck. I use a cut collar with....again its what others done.

Them vest Judgepeel got fit real nice kinda like underarmour shirts.

I like mine to go all the way to the hip as long as possible they don't weigh much anyways. And I like to be able to put my hand between the dogs back and the strap, I will snug the first and last strap and he rest are just loose. Only brand we trust Is hardcorehogdog.com

And the better the fit the more mobility the dog has IMO

A good kevlar vest snug on the front I want it to stop in front of the back legs  don't like to see gutted dogs.

This is how I like mine to fit. The dog on the left is a RCD and spends the whole hunt on the ground with the bay dogs. From strike to catch. The dog on the right is back up. She stays on the wheeler and I send her as reinforcement as soon as we head in.
