When y'all go out hunting how many catch dogs do y'all take? And are they running catch dogs or lead in catch dogs? Or one of each?

I use my Pitbulls as RCDs 90% of the time. I use them as lead ins when I need to.

Ya we take 2, most of the time. Coulda used 10 this last weekend. Got on a good group of hogs and wish we had 10 solid cds to turn loose. We lead in, lots of places we hunt got cows and we just can't afford to take a chance.

A pit cross and a catahoula are our catch dogs with a really good bred pit that will start gong with us in another month or so (she's young). We send ours from anywhere from 200 yards to 800 yards.

We always take 2 just that much easier on the dogs IMO if we know it's not big we just normally cut one out
