4" or 6" pipe, clean out fitting and cap on 1 end and a series of reducers for the other end reducing it from the size you choose, down to 3/4" or 1" and put a ball vave or stanard hose bib. 4ft in length should be plenty of volume. If you need more volume, build several. Use adel clamps or pipe strap to secure it to the box and have the fill side elevated 4"-6" above the end with you bib/valve. As far as securing it, make it where its toolless or at most a screw stick to loosen it up so it can be taken off for filling and cleaning

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!

about 5' of 4'' pvc with a 90 on the back end with an inside the hub cleanout fitting [ easier to fill ] and on the delivery end you can get a 4'' x 3/4'' reducer the 3/4 should be threaded to accept an ordinary hose bib . and strap it down . the 90 on the back allows you to fill it with water without removing the tube from the mounts .
