We dropped the dogs round 9 for a quick hunt. Sam was stretching his legs roaming round with spot, something caught his nose and he begain to range out. At 374 yards Sam opened up in a chop we knew he was looking at a pig , spot confirmed with her trail bark and all dogs rolled to them. We waited could hear lots of barking but it was a slow moving bay, off the side of a cliff. At 680 yards Creeksus is barking and we knew the pig had to have some size to it for him not to catch out. We drove as far as we could then gathered up our stuff headed off this cliff, mistake number one. It was the roughest country we have been through 50-60 foot drop offs rocks boulders thick cedars and briers, slow moving we was moving toward them it had been 45 min and we only moved a few hundred feet.  Dogs was holding good they had only moved 50 yards. We got to this stream that comes out of the mountain side huge pools of water, we are sliding down on our butts by this time tryin to close the gap. When we noticed it tried to break and the dogs moved another 200 yards away. I was getting tired coming off this mountain three times we got within 130 yards and could not turn the catch dogs loose because of the rough conditions. An hour had passed and I can say this is the longest bay for my pack, we have never not been able to get the catch dogs to them. We choose to move through the stream to make up time, both of us was wore out. We seen Creesus come out of the brush he was wobbling bad, no cuts jus stroking out.. Chance got him to the stream put him in the water and tied him there. Sam and spot was holding strong, Finally got to a spot that was mostly brush and cut the catch dogs loose at 54 yards, still could see the pig. Chico and diesel caught, we knew there was no way to get this one out so we put it down. A shame he was pushing 250, really long pig.

We regrouped and was missing two dogs Yella and Clyde, got back to the stream to retrieve Creeksus he was sitting up but couldn't walk well. I informed chance i was done for the night, we started the mile and a half walk back up the mountain. When Spot caught wind again Sam and her ran out. At this point I was gettin mad , tired wore out and had ask him to catch those two dogs. 170 yards they had a soild bay, with no way to get to them. We headed back down the hillside to a road walked 3/4 mile around to get within 120 yards of the bay, straight up. Again the dogs held a hour bay. I was dragging Creeksus he was spent and told chance to go a head without me yell if u need me to cut diesel loose. I waited, Chance and Chico head up he got 34 yards and could see the dogs had this pig in a cave spinning it around. He cut Chico loose I can hear a mean grunting going on, I heard him say Sam caught with chico and it was clear. Sam had pokes all over and was holding up his back leg. We got him to the road and left him Creeksus and spot to walk 2 miles to the truck up hill. Let's jus say it was more work then it was fun tonight , on the top of the mountain clyde and Yella found us I think they never made it off the cliff and returned to the truck. Creeksus was puking and using the bathroom on his self and jus shut down and went to sleep. Chance drug this one out off the mountainside. Nice white colored boar round 170.
