I caught a pregnant sow a couple of weeks ago and she had the babies. My plan was to sell the babies and kill the sow. My question is what are the laws on this? Is it legal? Thanks in advance

Why would u sell the piglets? If ur gonna just kill the sow, why not just give the piglets away? U cant get the money back u spent catching the sow from a piglets. Plus u cant sell them for what u got in feed after feeding them out till slaughtering or training size.

I wouldn't kill the sow till I sold all the shoats. I've seen people pay $20+ for young shoats like that. I may just sale the sow too.

I guess iv been doing it wrong. I give the piglets away, but $20 a head, iv got $100 in 2wk old piglets. I guess i can get on the piggy peddling instead of dog peddling.

People sell them everyday on here so you're probably ok.
