We had a great 3rd Annual Hunt. 25 teams entered and 15 teams weighed in on Sunday. We would like to thank everyone that showed up, it was not the best weekend to hunt, but we had teams enter from as far as Abilene, Canton, Rusk and Galveston. We had just over 15,000 lbs of hogs weighed in. Thank you to all our sponsors, BCS Automotive, Templeton Electric, C&N Consulting and D&L Trophies.

Russell Smith (myself) Steve Jones (Chris' father) Nick Owens.  Nick and I chip in and buy a buckle every year for Steve and his family. We are honored that they let us have this hunt every year in their beautiful daughters name.

Man it was great, Besides the weather! Had lots of fun, made new friends and all the money we made went to scholarships to the senior class at Franklin High School. I am still amazed at how far people came from to help us out. Texas is a great state and it shows that the people that live here are just as great. One team from Abilene hunted all weekend in the snow and ice and drove 5 hrs to weigh in their hogs. They could have stayed home with their pigs and sold them like a local team did but this team went threw with their commitment. Its people like that that make putting in the months of planning for a hunt worth it. Yall keep coming and Nick and I will do everything we can to give yall more prizes each year and make our hunt as fair and honest as we possibly can.

Thanks
Russell & Nick
