I figured I'd like to see some of the taxidermy and hear the storys behind them that some of yall may have. The fish in this picture weighed right at 7 pounds. I caught it at lake oconee here in north Georgia on the last live minnow. I had my step son and my little cousin (8 and 10 at the time) with me. We had been in the boat all day long and we were done fishing and back at the dock. In the minnow bucket were 2 minnows. One dead and one live. I toss the dead one and put the live on the hook and cast from the bank. I proceeded to try and untangle my cousins rod for him. My pole was laying on the ground. He said "shane i dont see the bobber and your line is getting tight" well low and behold it was this guy...lol...what are the odds. Last minnow and we were just about to leave.  |

I like deer mounts. Have 3 still at the taxidermist.   I'll put some more up in a bit. |

Nanny them are some nice mounts. And dallas you must do taxidermy work. Those look good !
