Lumpy died today. He had his kidneys shattered yesterday on a huge boar. I will miss him forever. He was my best freind and hunting partner. Heres a pic of his last hog he got yesterday. It was a big sow

Awe man that is a shame. Lumpy was a really cool dog. I know that's a hard hit to you man. He died doing what both of you love best. Had to be a beast of a boar to take ole Lumpy out. Condolences brother.

Sorry for your loss.  Losing a good hunting partner is hard but when they are one you call friend, makes it even harder. But thank The Good Lord for giving you the pleasure of having a dog like that.  RIP lumpy.

Just read your post, sure hate to hear that. Is it just me or does it seem like a lot of dogs were lost this year? Between heat, hogs, gators and roads, seems like a tough summer on dogs.........

Joe, I am very sorry to hear about Lumpy, I know he thought as much of you, as you did of him. I am sure glad that you that it was you that ended up with Lumpy, because you sure appreciated him and it showed. I am pretty sure he was the last of his litter besides the one female that I gave to my mom as a pup.
I have had a rough few days myself, so I am knowing how you are feeling.

Thanks everyone. He will be missed everyday.  the hardest part of it all was telling little joe and having to watch his face as he cried all last night.

Its hardest on the little ones who get so attached to these hunting dogs.  Poor Little Joe!
