Looks like she will be well put together. So me personally I will not start to really work a dog until around 18 months until then I just do a lot of hand walking and flirt pole. Which if they have good genetics and you know how to feed, I mean really know how to feed, it will rip them up. But I have friends who will work theirs younger but they take it on a case by case basis depending on how quickly that dog is maturing.

Just take your time with her and let her mature, some mature real early, some take a little longer but if you work her too hard too early it will do more damage then good. Just my two cents and good luck.

Great attitude to have, I have always tried to do the same thing. What I said about feeding I did not mean it to be in a negative manner at all, or that you didn't know how my friend. I feel its kind of an art to look at your dog and also watch his performance and know what he is lacking or needs more of. But that is just my opinion. You take care and good luck with your new little addition.

whoops...i didnt mean for that to sound thata way. I was just saying that If you or anyone else had any pointers (protiene level, daily amount etc) i'd be open to hear and possibly try what works for someone else. I didnt mean to sound rude at all. Sorry about that.

That's one reason I've always done the feeding on my dogs. I always take that time to evaluate each dog and how they are looking that day. They can get fat or poor in a hurry if you have someone else feeding and just going by the amount they were told.
