Iv got abunch of fresh ground pork in my freezer that im wanting to get rid of to make room for some from the last hog we had butcherd does anybody know of a reason why i should not feed it to my dogs? Theres probaly only anuff here for 2 or 3 days worth of feeding.

I'd feed it or eat it haha! Should be fine to feed raw to the dogs after being frozen.

We butcher 2 show pigs a year so i try to give as much leftover away that i can to family friends and people that need it and im down to that so my dogs are next inline i feed some deer to them but never had much of this pork left to feed. Thanks mr mike for the reply

i butcher hogs every year and feed the head guts feet and all scraps to my dogs . it'll do them more good than anything you can buy . a damn dog can eat a rotting skunk or his own crap and not get sick lol

Haha true story there i try not to let them eat nothing to smelly they like to try to kiss me when i walk by and there on the rig and im pretty weak stomached.

Do any of yall feed your dogs raw eggs? I usually feed 1 apeice most everyday unless all the hens are settin i keep 10 or so game hens and about the same laying hens so iv got plenty. I was just wondering if anybody else does that

Frozen meat is fine to feed.   When feeding raw meat, you might see a little food agression where you have never ever had a problem before.   Just a heads up if the dogs are kept together.

We used to feed all the dogs the gut piles and scraps from all the pigs we killed... Then one day my favorite dog of all time, a catch dog named buster, got really sick.... Got swine brucellosis and a few months later he died. Most pigs don't carry it. Some do... We just so happened to run into one and fed it to the dogs. I won't ever feed the gut pile or uncooked pigs to the dogs again... To much to lose and not enough to gain...

Never feed them anythang we caught. Whats everybodys thoughts on feeding them wild pig thats been frozen for a couple of months im sure its been brought up but its been kinda dead around here.

  shoot ya'lls dogs are abused  lol  I would fire up the smoker and smoke a pig and after I got full the rest went to the dogs .
