Took the pups to the woods today just to let em run and to observe there behaviour. It was the heat of the day but just wanted to go quick. I took them to the boy scout property that I trap on there aren't any pigs left to speak of.Pups are 5 months old and not really started on pigs yet but training is about to start. So we drive in about 1/2 mile and let the pups out. They take off down this cow trail didn't even get to put my drinks in my bag and start walking when I looked at garmin and they were 700 and rolling out I dropped all 3 so we get in the truck and head there way I pick them up at .78mi and treed. We haul but to them and they got a hand full of cows bayed.I couldn't believe it so I catch them up head back in to the middle and try again this time these little pups were ranging 3-400yds and beatin the bush they didn't know what they were huntin but they were dang sure huntin. Couldn't be happier.

It's my understanding that Gary is done and no longer has any dogs.I got mine from  Jake Forehand in Georgia he's a personal friend of Gary and has been raising and huntin these dogs for a long time.Holds a very high standard on the dogs performance and catches lots of swine. If this Gyp works out and turns into a high caliber dog then I will have a breeding pair for the future. The pup I got from Jake last year has turned out to be an incredible young dog with amazing drive and energy he's been finding pigs since his first real hunt at 8 months old. If it works out it will be a tight breed line.Would like to be able to hunt these dogs for many years to come.

Thanks. That longer hair is only on the two the other two I have got completely slick coats. Jake told me most of the litters he's had have a couple with the longer hair.I reckon it's something Gary put in along the way.I'd love to hear from anyone else who hunts these Cambells.

Those Campbells are already pretty tight bred. The long eared one will probably be the best in the litter.

I have a yard full of Campbell have had two hairy pups Gary swears he didn't breed any setters in but I bet they are some in the line somewhere. I kept one of the hairy oups off this last litter he is 7 months and hunts hard stays busy and is pretty rough but ugly as sin. I have a littermate to
Him that is not near as rough. Sure is off Gary's wrangler dog and jingle dam is off a dog named Wilson that went back to nate and a female off rattler.
