Changed the battery and still wouldn't do anything any suggestions???

What bout the button itself? It may hav grit under it that wont allow it to make connection. It could also be a wire coming from the button terminal to the battery. If u got a multimeter, run a continuity ck on the wires from the battery to the button n a ck on the button itself. If u dont get a beep, u got a broke wire or corroded terminal or unpined terminal

possibly the button or could even be the red led light not opperating,had that happen to one of my dc20 collars  when they first came out.make sure handheld is turned on and try to pick it up.if these dont work you have to call garmin,i think its around $90 to exchange
