Got an 8th month old male blue nose. Didn't really need him but he's a big dog (already 65-70 pounds) and we wanted to have a dog to back up our jam up red nose until our AB gyp is old enough to start learning the ropes. This pit was a pet, never seen a hog in his life until we threw him in the pen Tuesday night. Let the curs work the pig for a little, then cut him loose first. He ran in like he meant business but stopped right next to the curs and froze up. I guess that 80 sow could tell he was the weak link cause she hit him broad side and rolled him up. Turn chongo(our red nose) loose and he did like he does and came crashing into that pig. Curs caught with him and it took a minute for tyson(blue nose) to figure it out but he found the ear and locked in. He's gonna need some practice but we're thinking he might just make a CD

That little brown headed white necked dog you see is my 7 month old cur cross gyp. She was looking like she was gonna be our first cull but she has turned it on and I'm real proud of that little pup.
