Am looking for any info on a man named Cotton Stahand that had or has an old line of yella dogs. I'm thinking he was in the Liberty, Houston area some were. Was a barber I think. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My hunting partner is originally from Liberty and knows who your talking about but wasn't sure if he was still around. Said he cut hair in Hardin but didn't know he had yella dogs, guess he might have been out of dogs for a while. If he can get me anymore info, I will pass it along.

I've hunted with a few of them over the years and have always thot they were pretty dang good dogs, I happened to get my hands on a pup bout 4 mths ago and man he's ben ben pretty interesting to watch the last few weeks, got me to wanting to know a little more about them.

no shortage of fine yella dogs that have come out of that area over the years. Maybe some more info will surface.

Reuben, I know his dogs have been discussed on here in years passed. I believe Mr. Ward has some 1st hand knowledge of some of the Hart dogs if my memory isn't playing tricks on me.

I go to church with MR. Strahand. He is still around doing pretty good, as far as dogs he has not had any for several years.
