I have a bmc that has some bumps on his paws and back legs. A few of them have strarted to open up like sores. They don't bother him and he never licks them. Went I took him to the vet a week ago for an overview he said it might be an allergic reaction and said give him benadryl 2 times a day so I've been doing that without any change. If anything they have gotten worse. Any advise or sugestions will be appreciated.
Thanks.

I had a outbreak of fungus like ringworm be careful as it is very contagious to your other dogs.I had this run through my pens and had a hard time getting rid of it.I finally got it whipped by using new stock and selson blue put it on a few times a day also clean your pens with bleach a few times over a few days.

I've got a male dog that I've had this problem on/off for 5 years. It all went away when I swapped to victor dog food. Guess he might be allergic to gluten or something else in other feed. Dex would only help temporarily. But no problems since I put em on victor the last six months. Plus my dogs have never looked better.

Had several dogs start doing this or something similar, got to ringing the horns of some old country vets and was told hookworms, gave each dog a tube of pyrantel poamate split into 3 servings 3 days in a row, repeated in two weeks and now they are slicked off and no more sores around feet.

Nu-Stock worked great for me. My dog had a mystery rash that steroids and anti-biotics from the vet initially made improvements on, but didn't cure, and which came right back when we started to ween him off the steroids. Vet wanted me to go see a dog dermatologist for who knows how much money. I thought I'd try a $12 bottle of Nu-Stock which I read about on this forum first. Worked like a charm and it's easy to use. It does have a sulfur odor to it, but it's not as bad as some people say online.
