I'd say give her a try, there are a few good working dogs on that ped. Nice looking pup too.

Ought to make heck of a dog!

It's what's referred to as a hybrid

Maggie shook is the breeder (gunslinger)

Many sport work and hog catching dogs in the ped.

Should make a all around good healthy dog.

I've saw the Susanna dean dog catch coiple and she was a beast and on hog,
The river dog caught, the bullseye dog caught many a hog and was bred by don Mathews if I'm not mistakin

The Ozzie dog was a super cool fog with great temperment and a real good fo anything dog. Loved him!

The Rowland dog was huge and threw big athletic dogs that caught and he was heck of a sport dog.

The lily dog was kinda a b!tch but in a good way
and caught.

I know Maggie and she dif all health tests and tests her dog in multiple working venues and would stand by any dog she bred.

Dog is hybrid and not pure standard so prob have a shorter muzzle and may not want to send from 300yfd away in dead heat of summer or be a running catch dog and such but not a nonfunctional bully by any stretch
And ought to slam and anchor pretty doggone well as a walk in bulldog and by some dogs in the ped I would pity any intruder on your property or family ....

some good dogs in the ped and a nice looking pup. But the best thing to do would be to go take a look and see how he acts in person. If you cant go in person maybe someone that knows the kind of dog your looking for can. ABs vary a great deal in general. Or if you have the time and room, get him, give him a shot and if he doesnt work, take care appropriately.

5 dogs in the third gen caught hogs in wild or the old comps or both very well....maybe more of them as well

3 of the dogs in the second gen caught, maybe all, don't know if the Blevins put Ozzie on one but he was a very cool dog

And both in the 1st gen were tested on hogs

Like I said, might not be, the most streamlined athletic day in and day out hest of summer woods dog, being it is hybrid but sure ought not lack want too

But in the end it kinda crapshoot sometimes with the breed, so yeah that dog sure be worth a try and if ya font like it Maggie prob find someone to take it off us hands. You oughta contact her bout it

What Obie (Semmes) said....

If you don't mind hybrid blood....that's a dog worth giving a shot.

I will try to post one of her. She's a 2 and a half year old. Real gamey but never been on hogs. Said she loves to get after stuff and will go nuts trying to kill stuff that gets under her dog house like mice and what not.

Thank yall fellas for the replies. Semmes you seem like you know a thing or 2 about this dog. I love to talk with folks that really know dogs. I have talked with Don Mathews a pretty good bit. He said as well that she'd definitely be worth a shot.

I don't know much... judt seem first hand lot of the dogs in the ped....Gary, Brit, and Scott been round bit more than me and don would def be the man to talk to bout this dog since it heavy on few dogs out his yard and I do know don and he is gold as far as ab knowledge.

I just know the breeder and what she is about as well...

Glad you got the dog and gone give her a go.

Call Maggie from that number in her site tmrw.

I'm sure she would like to keep up with the dog as well.

She's a good lady and trainer and consciencious breeder and took a ab to a sch3 which is pretty exclusive company, and she real tight with don.
