Andy & Mark Becker, myself, & Mike Starling made the trek to Canada & had a good hunt. We ran bear everyday, Harvested 3 boars and let 2 sows go that weighed 200-225#. Had a lot of good dog work. This is short because I had most of the story typed w/pics. & lost it on the computer. Thanks a lot James O'Sullivan for getting us a trailer to haul a boat with & enjoyed hunting with you. Missed a lot of pics. for not bringing my camera to all the trees.

Mike starlings bear. around 275#

Sow we let go.

Bear I shot

Bear Mark shot on the ground after a really nice job of cold trailing by Andy's dogs Red Balls & Buster

Put a southern boy in the wilds of Canada & he can find something to eat.

Misc. pics.

Helluva trip Cajun!

Any special requirements to haul the dogs across the border and back?

Thanks guys. Mike all you need is a Rabies certificate to get dogs across the border. Have to fill out a form for guns. No pistols allowed in Canada.

No pistols huh? That's odd... Really good lookin dogs Cajun. Always wanted to hunt bear with dog... Bet it's a rush once they get one tree'd.

Canadian citizens can own a handgun but has to be in a locked case to and from a range to shoot. Can't just go out in the woods to shoot and you can't carry it for protection. Every English crown country has passed restrictive gun laws. Be thankful we bailed out 200 yrs ago!
