This is one that gets to me... Jane was one of the best CDs I've had the pleasure to hunt behind. She was always all ear, and never let go, no matter what. She had been on more hogs than I have, and it never fazed her. Although she may have not liked anything that moved that wasn't human, I'd want her on my side going into battle every time. Sorry for your loss brother!

The hog that got her was a bigin'. Jane went to another hunting home recently, and was going out with her new owners. The story was told to us that they had a big group of hogs in a field... Turned only Jane to em, and she runs in and catches the biggest one of them all. They said the hog went 447 on the scales at the taxidermist. Good luck in he happy hunting grounds! You will be missed by many.

I walked her to bays since she was 10 months old. Ol Janey caught more hogs for us than I can count. She was all heart. Couldn't ask for a better cd partner. Very blessed to have had the opportunity to hunt behind her for so long, and she will be greatly missed!

I have been a long time lurker and have  pm'd  few of you gents on the forum . So this is my intro and comment at the same time . I really hate to hear about such a good cd being cut down  . I honestly just recently read the thread on black catch dogs and loved it . I have been debating on doing a breeding so I could own a black catch dog . The name jane has come up quite a few times in looking through some old posts and nothing but good was said about her . I am truly sorry about your loss. I hope someone has some pups off of her so all of her good qualities aren't lost . But once again I am truly sorry for your loss .

Sorry to hear the bad news .

She sounds and looks like she was a helluva catch dog. I know it probably sounds cliche to say " at least she went out doing what she loved " but the more I see these working dogs come and go the truer that becomes.

A dog with heart like that is one you don't have to think twice about when running in on a caught hog ..

Damn I sure hate to hear that, as I made aware (more than once in the past  Cheesy) she was one of my personal favorite dogs talked about on this site and I never even hunted with or around her. Something about that dog just really does is for me, she is built right to a T, everything I want and like in a bulldog. I sure hate seeing that she passed away. RIP jane.
