... the snake won!

I was on my way to feed the dogs this evening and something caught my eye. The squirrel was already dead when I got there... I grabbed the camera and the kids so they could see nature in action. Grin

I was thinking the same thing... all I could figure is he caught him in a nest during the rain and they fell to the gound???

I saw a timber ratter eat a squirrel about 10years ago ,the snake was laying by a big tree the squirrel ran down the tree and that was it,no more  squirrel.

That is pretty neat, I would never have guessed that the snake could have done that.  The squirrel looks young but it is still a big animal for a snake to down.

Dang it Shocked Thats a hell of thing to walk up on. If I would have taken the pic, there would have been a bunch of spilled dog food and maybe a shoe from me getting out of there so fast. Grin

That's cool . One evening I was in my tree stand and opened a beverage . I always put the caps in a hole in the tree right behind my back. I had the cap between my thumb and index finger and something in the hole hit it and knocked it out of my hand and out into the trail below. Needless to say my fat arse was out of the 16' stand in one step. It turned out to be 2 big rat snakes nesting in the $#%## hole in the tree . I moved my stand

I just caught a rat snake at my house he was only 2' hopefully he will eat some of these rodents around here. Cool pic mike

I would have screamed like a woman... Litterally.. gives me the hevvy jevvys just lookin at the pics. The thing is my computer doesnt load real fast so im settin here a foot from the screen and BAM! snake in the face!
