Well I bred two top of the line dogs together and if she took I guess we will see the out come. I bought the old gyp probably a little over a year ago to hunt a little with the going dogs but mainly to raise pups off of, so my fingers are crossed.

Sorry I couldn't get a better picture but if you zoom in from right to left, is a red male, black and tan male, black and tan female from our breeding, then a black natural Bob tail half mountain cur half, 1/8 plot and the rest if Boyd dog blood. Just showing the pups from the cross none for sale at any price just so you know.

Sorry it took so long to reply Jared, I just saw you post when I update the puppy pictures. We'll put it like this he use to be my male and he should steel be now but he's not, luckily I reserved breeding rights. But all joking side the guy that bought him is a real good guy, and we've became pretty good friend, he's kinda thinks along the same line as we do.

Well the pups or 8 months old now, showed them a hog 4 different times when they were 6 months old and they took right to baying, by the fourth time I showed it to them I had to split them up or they would catch it. This time home I took the red pup to the woods and he didn't stay under my feet but we never bayed a hog, run one forever but never bayed. Next I took the gyp and we bayed a shoat, the little gyp was hesitant at first but bayed pretty decent at the end. Hopefully this coming week I'll get to take the other male pup. Overall I'm not ecstatic about the way they've done, but I'm not disappointed either. So we will see, I know they've got the blood in them, I just got to get it out of them.
