Good night of fights. Two submissions or two supposedly unstoppable strikers. I had picked Connor by split decision as I knew Nate was a really bad match up for him because of his length and ground game but I did not realize this bad hahaha. I picked Miesha as I had watched previous to the Rousey fight Holly barely beat mediocre fighters.

No reason to be quite. I still fell the better fighters lost but that is the great thing of mma the best don't always win. As for holly she was winning the fight then just got out grappled and choked. As for conor vs Nate conor was clearly winning but when his shots didn't hurt him and he got tagged he does what every one on the face of the earth will do when you get your face lit up start grabbing big mistake on his part lol. They still can whoop all of us Internet hog hunters lol

Diaz is longer, bigger and is a good submission jiu jitsu guy. I think connor found out where his limits are.  Diaz was ro mcgregor what mcgregor is to most in the 145 lb class. It sure screwed things up for dana as far as match making for ufc 200

Yes I agree what Conor said was exactly what I saw in the fight he was trying to hard to put him to sleep and panicked in stead of remaing calm  and Nate took advantage of it. But I do feel sorry for the next guy Conor fights which I feel should be cranky Edgar

Connor is a great fighter and I think the real deal even though he got whooped. Nate was a bad match up for him cause he is very long, has decent hands, can take punishment, but is really skilled on the ground as well. But what people have to remember about Connor is he is a one trick pony, it is an absolutely great trick but in the end still very one dimensional. Connor's main strengths are his striking and foot work. He has some other really good attributes that go with those too but that is what makes him what he is. Chad Mendes exposed him to what a good wrestler could do to him, he just couldn't maintain it as some other wrestlers can. I would have been real interested to see how Dos Anjos would have done with connor as in his fight with Pettis he was able to keep that pace up all 5 rounds. I mean Dos Anjos is no where near a world class wrestler but still has good ground and pound.

At connors weight 145 he is the real deal. But he is far from unbeatable. Holly on the other hand I was never sold on at all. I watched her fight that rocky chick back before she fought Rhonda and barely win, and the girl (Raquel) is a C level fighter at best. Styles makes fights and she came in the best shape of her life, with a great gameplan from a guy who is very good at gameplanning to fight Rhonda who prob didn't even know Holly's name and was not properly trained, or in shape and did not take Holly serious as she thought it was going to be another 30 second fight. Not saying Holly won't get anymore good wins but she is waaayyyyyyy too one dimensional to hold the belt for any length of time.

Lol art that might be true.                                               Rednose I think your pretty close but I think conor can do well at 55 his main issue in that fight was he was head hunting. Very humble in the loss. Most other fighters in those weight classes would have been out of there with the beating he put on Nate in the first 8 min but that ain't what wins its the finish or judges call

Excellent anylisis of the fite. I swear, i think in the rousey fite with holmes, it was over after the first punch, holmes hit her hard and from then on rousey was in lala land until she was finished by that kick in second round.  But holmes has shown a weakness regarding her ground game. Will be interesting to see if rousey tries to regain the title at ufc 200,  she has owned tate in the past.

I would like to see that Ronda vs Tate. But i think ronda would just steam roll her again but with the added confidence by Tate she could win. I would like to see conor vs Edgar I still feel conor is to much for Edgar and aldo

I think you are totally right about Connor being too much for Edgar. Edgar's pitty pat slapping punches vs a legitimate striker like Connor will get Edgar killed. He could try and take it down but he was just an average d1 wrestler so nothing too special there, and he is naturally small for the 155lb class. So I think that is a much more favorable match up for Connor. The fight that I think would be a lot of fun to watch would be connor vs pettis, it would mainly just be a kick boxing match hahaha. I'm sure at some point they would get some grappling in but it would mainly be a slugfest!

Rhonda kills Tate again cause styles makes fights and Rhonda is a far better fighter in the way they match up. Now you make a good point about confidence though. How is Rhonda's state of mind after taking her first loss? And a devastating one at that? That is the unknown variable, cause as every fighter will tell you fighting is 90% mental and 20% physical.

The next fight I am excited bout is Cormier x jones I sure want Daniel to win. I feel he is one of the best well rounded fighters in ufc. If he comes to fight in shape I feel he can win won't be easy but he can do it

I will be rooting for Daniel as well. They both have similar backgrounds. Two very good wrestler's who have developed good standup. The edge in wrestling will go to Cormier as he is world class and the edge in striking would go to Jones with his lengh, speed, and youth.

Going to be a tough fight but I think a lot will depend on what kind of shape Jones comes in. If he is in good shape he sure is hard to beat.
