Have yet to catch a boar hog bigger than 188 lbs with just my dogs. Caught one that cscott and me guessed would have gone about 250. We barred him and sent him on his way. But cscotts dogs did all the work. Hell the weekend we caught the 185 lber and the 188lber Cscott was down south hunting with me and again his dogs did everything. So biggest just my dogs was 165 boar. Have caught a plenty sows around 200. 2 close to 250-270 just my dogs

Not my hog by any means but got killed on my land when I was only in the 6th or 7th grade. Brother and I saw him going to school eating out of the feed bunks with a bunch of steers he took off running and busted the bottom wire on our fence. I called my pops and he called the Holubs. I remember coming home from school stopping on the side of the road hearing dogs baying and a lot of grunting. About 10 minutes later my dad came out of the woods with Clayton and Cullen Holub dragging this big SOB behind our four wheeler. And so began my love affair with hog doggin.

Weighed 464 I'm sure some of y'all remember this boar hog
Cullen, Clayton, and James Holub and my old man on the right.

Me and my buddy Marshal willey caught this hippo with a big jug headed yella curr dog he has named buttermilk. Caught him by himself and held long enough for us to grab Ahold then go for a wrestling match in a slew up to  our chest for a little while before we got him out the water and flipped
